TRETA YUG

Treta signifies a ‘collection of three things’ in Sanskrit. It earned this name because during the Treta Yuga, there were three Avatars of Vishnu that were seen: the fifth, sixth, and seventh incarnations as Vamana, Parashurama, and Rama, respectively.
